Episode 23

Art for Active Imagination

For this episode, I interview artist Nick Shore. We discuss the role that art can play in Active Imagination. Jung strongly encouraged using art and sculpture to depict and understand some dream symbols and figures. In this interview we go on a wild ride, learning about Nick’s story, how he built this practice for himself and how to navigate some of the murky waters of dreamlife. This is an exceptional episode and not to be missed and is best watched on YouTube as we will be presenting some of Nick’s work along with others.

Nick Shore’s Art

In this interview we look at a lot of Nick’s art as well as some other examples of art from Active Imagination, so I really recommend watching this interview on YouTube or Spotify. Here are a few examples of Nick’s art that we discuss, added here with permission.
